Family at the Holidays

There really is no substitute for family.  Good or bad, many or few, family is family.  Toddler Harbat is overjoyed to have family in town.  Last week it was my sister and future brother-in-law, this week it’s her grandparents.  These faces she knows from Skype and infrequent visits are now in her house and ready to read books, play baby smackdown, and have their hair salonned.  She’s thrilled to spend time with her family and have guests in the house.  With the steady crescendo towards Christmas and the out-of-the-ordinary houseguest situation, TH is all smiles and hospitality.  Whoever your family is, blood-related or not, reach out to them this holiday and spend some quality time.
