It’s Ladies Night, Oh What a Night

I’ll get this out of the way for all my lady readers out there.  Here he is:

This is who I went to see last night:  David Garrett.  He’s a crossover violin player.  Which means he’s a classically-trained Julliard grad who can burn up the strings on his violin.  My wife got us tickets to his concert for a Valentine’s Day present and it turned out to be the best present ever.  David mixes classical hits with rock and original compositions, showing that he’s got the technical chops and the feel to bring new audiences into the concert halls.  The playlist ranged from Pagani to AC/DC, “Dueling Banjos” to “Summertime”.  It was an awesome concert and whether he was sawing away to “Zorba’s Dance” or rockin’ out to Queen’s “Who Wants to Live Forever”, he showed that it’s possible to be insanely talented and have a strong stubbled jawline.  That bastard.

I think artful use of quotation marks would reveal the "hidden agenda" here:This is who I went to "see" last night: David Garrett. He’s a crossover "violin" player. Which means he’s a classically-trained Julliard
grad who can burn up the "strings" on his "violin."
